Yakiniku Guu is embracing a wave of Korean influence with its new promotion, "Korean-Japanese Fest," launching on February 10. During the promotion period, Yakiniku Guu will offer a variety of Korean and Japanese delicacies, allowing guests to experience the charm of two unique culinary cultures.

The highlight of the "Korean-Japanese Fest" is the exciting showdown between Korean and Japanese-style seasoned pork belly. Each style will be offering three unique seasoning sauces, delivering a burst of flavors to tantalize your taste buds. Guests who order Level 3 or above set in main menu will receive a complimentary platter of Korean-Japanese style pork belly, with unlimited sauce refills available.

The Korean-style thick-cut pork belly features spicy, doenjang, and green onion salt flavors:

  • Spicy: Made with Korean chili powder and sauce, it balances heat with a hint of sweetness, offering a rich taste experience.
  • Doenjang: This is made from fermented soybeans, providing a smooth and rich, slightly salty flavor that enhances the natural taste of meat.
  • Green Onion Salt: A simple yet fresh combination of green onions and sea salt, highlighting the original flavors of the ingredients.

Accompanying the pork belly are Cheongyang chili pepper and lettuce, allowing diners to create refreshing crispy lettuce wraps that balance the richness of the pork.

The Japanese-style thin-cut pork belly includes matcha salt, plum salt, and yuzu salt:

  • Matcha Salt: Offers a delicate and pure salty taste with a hint of tea aroma, enhancing the natural flavors of the food.
  • Plum Salt: Made from dried plums and sea salt, it combines fruity acidity with savory saltiness to stimulate the appetite.
  • Yuzu Salt: Combining yuzu peel and sea salt, it complements the sweetness of the yuzu with the freshness of the salt.


In addition to the featured pork belly, the culinary team has prepared a range of other Korean and Japanese dishes available for unlimited refills with Level 2 or higher set menus.

  • Ginseng chicken soup, a nourishing and comforting Korean signature soup
  • Spicy and tangy kimchi dumplings
  • Crispy Korean fried chicken (available in cheese and spicy flavors)
  • Unique perilla chicken skewers made with Korean sesame leaves
